This service is available to everyone, we also do family DVD's from your kids sporting events to family reunions. We do it all. And because of our hard work and determination, SLAM was awarded 'Best Media' 2 years in a row for the 1st & 2nd Annual Virginia Reggae Awards Show, made possible by VirginiaReggae.com. We are always looking to help boost unknown talent as well, and even link up to promote those who have already 'made it'. So if you are interested in our services, please get with us! We also step outside the Reggae/Caribbean realm when offered other types of work. We have done commercials for a Beauty-Fitness-Spa Salon, Virginia Fashion Week, Secret Dreams Fashion Show, a 48 hour movie project where we won best actress award (the entire movie had to be shot edited and completed in only 2 days, in a competition with other film crews, assigned different movie genres, and having to use the same set of criteria... ie- a certain prop, a specific line to include, and a particular character). We also have done work for the hip-hop community nuff times, filming and editing recently "The Battle @ The Mall" a freestyle rap battle held here in VA. As well as Team Blackout, Run DMC Reverend Run's son's group was in town for an autograph signing and performance as a local high school. Covering "Happily Natural Day" (really its a weekend) 2 years in a row, held in Richmond VA. An event to big up and teach/educate the people on Natural livity, African Conciousness and the like. Also included poetry reading, skits, naturopathy, drumming etc... SLAM is not limited to just Reggae and such, so we wanted to let ones know there is hardly a limit to what we CAN DO for you. Just name it, and we'll set you up! Email us @ info@slamvideomagazine.com and/or slamdvd@hotmail.com for further info

S.L.A.M., which is the acronym for Streets Life Arts Music, began with a single VHS-C camcorder, now utilizing HIGH DEFINITION quality products. In reality it was formed because of the love for entertainment, video, and sound, in hopes to fill the void for quality Caribbean culture on the screens of the residents of the 757; whether American and West Indian. Slam focuses on raw talent from the foundation from the streets to the stage. Slam became our primary product showcasing and packaging popular Caribbean culture through the promotional tool, S.L.A.M. DVD. We have now evolved into a multicultural exchange distributed via the web, DVD, and cable Television here in the U.S. and the Caribbean. Each of Slam's products is, in its own way, unique and has been conceptualized and created with strict adherence to our motto, which is to Promote Inform and Entertain. Slam Media Group includes Slam DVD, Slam video magazine, Slam web magazine and the graphics department Round Face Creations. Slam DVD is a video magazine distributed in the form of an energy packed DVD. It takes you from the streets to the spotlit stages, behind the scenes, and to the after parties of some of yesterday's and today's hottest artists as well as tomorrows stars. Slam video magazine is a bi-product of Slam DVD, but made for television with interviews music videos and concerts. Slam web magazine is a new edition, taking you a step closer to the artists and their art form by giving you, the reader, a chance to ask and find out about the diverse culture's movers and shakers. Slam DVD is always looking for promoters of live events, publicists, as well as photographers and videographers who have talent in their fields to submit info, footage, and vibes in order to further promote, inform, and entertain the people. Check out our Contact Page to get more info on how it can be done.
